Family Day memories to treasure & keep

Family days and concerts have always excited me as a child. I can still vividly remember the costumes I wore as I stood on stage in front of a sea of people. And in that crowd, I would find my overly excited family standing with their cameras as they enthusiastically cheered for me on stage.
Our most recent Family Day at The Gardens Theatre was a flashback to my own when I was in school. These memorable moments have stayed with me until today, and I can only hope the same for our children.
Having been asked to participate in Trinity Kids Malaysia’s Family Day, I was super excited! My team and I worked tirelessly hard to make sure the whole event went smoothly and it was all worth it, because my main goal was that the children had a memorable time, just as I once did.
My favourite part was seeing the children prepping backstage and watching families break the ice at our games station. Some families were super spontaneous, and I loved it!
Here are some adorable ‘testimonies’ when I interviewed our fellow Trinity Kids. I simply asked them to share what they loved most about our Family Day. Here we go!
“I play the car and start the engine. Vroom Vroom. The big car got pedal, can move!”. - A.L., 3 years old
“My favourite game is spinning the wheel. I spin, then my dad have to carry me and squat. I also made juice, carrot apple juice. My favourite!” - H.G., 4 years old
“I like to spin the wheel. It got me lying on my dad and he push up 5 times. I also like the car. I drive backwards and I almost bang the wall because I never look back. Next time I must look back”. - R.J., 6 years old
“I do dancing and wear fancy clothes!” - K.L., 5 years old
“I wear a hat and long black clothes. Then I throw my hat super high. The highest in the room!” - E.S., 6 years old

Apart from that, our lovely parents have shown their support and gratitude. Their words of kindness warmed my heart and I am so grateful that we helped families create more memories to keep.
